Brooks and Brooks are recruiting for Residential Support Workers in Oldham and Rochdale. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our working family. We aim to be responsible for providing compassionate care every step of the childs journey.

We currently have four childrens residential homes managed by our highly skilled, fun and vibrant team. We look forward to hearing from you.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driver is desirable.
• Experience working with CYP in a Residential setting is Essential.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and young People (CYP) is desirable.
• Valid Enhanced DBS record.
• Willingness to undertake further training.
• Must be over 23 years old.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide a safe environment for the young person in our care
• Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes. Be able to use your own initiative.
• Encourage the young person to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
• Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork and reports.
• Can adapt to challenging and changing situations. Provide ongoing support and monitoring of Service User
• To deliver the best possible outcomes for the young person in your care, within a caring, homely environment. Ensuring the highest standards of quality are achieved in all duties carried out.
• Communicating effectively within the team, with other teams and across the company as a whole.
